I know what it takes to beat social anxiety because I learned to overcome it myself. Social anxiety can feel overwhelming, and if untreated can lead to lower quality of life as you slowly isolate yourself from others. The potential feelings of a lack of control as well as a lack of understanding as to why this is happening often results in depression. Fortunately, both social anxiety and depression can be very aptly addressed with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
